Diesel generator sets are generally used in emergency situations when the mains power fails. The daily maintenance of diesel generator sets is directly related to whether they can play an emergency role at critical moments, so users must do daily maintenance work. Make the diesel generator set in a good standby state at all times and prolong its service life.

(1) When the diesel generator set is in standby state, always check the voltage of the starting battery, the liquid level, the specific gravity of the electrolyte and the situation of the battery pile head. When the voltage of the starting battery is found to be low, the starting battery should be charged in time. Strictly follow charging when charging. When charging, you should strictly follow the battery manufacturer's instructions to prevent damage to the starter battery.

When it is found that the electrolyte level is lower than the standard, it should be refilled in time. When refilling, only distilled water or battery refill liquid is allowed. Dilute sulfuric acid is not allowed, otherwise the specific gravity of the electrolyte will become higher and higher, causing battery damage.

For generator sets with a computer control panel and automatic chargers, the charger should always be turned on, so as to avoid battery loss due to long-term use of the computer control panel. If you use a manual charger without a computer control screen, you should charge the battery ## every half month if there is no fault in the starting battery.

(2) The standby diesel generator set should be tested with no-load ## every half month, but during the no-load test, the actual time should not exceed 15 minutes each time, and the actual time should not be too long, so as to avoid the low engine temperature and fuel combustion. It does not cause carbon deposits and black oil in the exhaust pipe to be generated inside the engine.
